Double Door Rigid Boxes: questions before ordering
How do the doors stay closed?
Either concealed magnets set into the frame and the door edges, or ribbon ties. Magnets are the usual choice for retail; ribbon ties suit gift packaging where the opening is part of the presentation.
Can the inside be divided?
Yes. The fixed frame already gives us a rigid perimeter to build against, so we can add dividers, a tiered platform or separate cavities for each piece in the set.
How does the cost compare with a lid and base box?
It is higher at the same size, because there are two extra wrapped panels, a fixed frame and hinges or magnet seats. We quote both constructions side by side so the difference is visible before you decide.
What formats suit this box?
Wide, shallow formats work best — the doors need width to read as doors. Tall, narrow products are usually better served by a drawer box or a book-style box.
