Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to the information you send us through this website or by email. It applies to Colormix Packaging and to this website only.
Last updated: 2026-10-27
In short: we use the details you send to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and run the order. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers on this site, and you can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Colormix Packaging, a packaging supplier based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to sales@colormixpackaging.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect what is needed to answer an enquiry or run an order.
- What you type into the quote form — name, email, company, country, box type, quantity, size, material, finishing, insert, delivery city, target date, a description of the product, and any artwork or reference link you choose to share.
- What you send by email — the contents of your message and any attachment, dieline, artwork or specification file.
- Order and delivery details — the contact, address, invoice and shipping information needed to produce and deliver an order.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages requested, recorded by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, special category data such as health information, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and quote — necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To produce, ship and invoice an order — necessary to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and to meet export, tax and record-keeping obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To keep the site secure and free of spam — our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f)). The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical signals to distinguish people from bots.
- To follow up on an open enquiry — our legitimate interest in responding to a business request you initiated (Art. 6(1)(f)). Every follow-up email tells you how to stop it.
We do not send newsletters or marketing email unless you separately ask us to.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with suppliers who help us run the website and the order. They may only use it for that purpose.
- Hosting and security — Cloudflare, which serves this website and filters bot traffic.
- Email — the provider that delivers and stores our business email.
- Production and freight — the factories, couriers and forwarders that make, pack and ship an order, given the details they need to do it.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors or lawyers, where required.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. Where your data is processed
We are based in China and our team works from there. Some service providers — hosting and email in particular — process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards for international transfers, and we keep the amount of data transferred to what the service needs.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders — kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so a returning enquiry does not start from zero.
- Orders — contracts, invoices, packing lists and shipping documents are kept for as long as export, tax and accounting rules require.
- Artwork and dielines — kept with the project file so a reorder repeats exactly, and deleted on request where no legal obligation requires us to keep them.
7. Cookies
This site sets no advertising or profiling cookies. The only cookies and similar storage used are those required to serve the site securely and to keep the quote form working — for example the Cloudflare security check. Because these are strictly necessary, they do not require a consent banner. If we add analytics in future, this section will say so before it goes live.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete data we no longer need;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent, where consent was the basis.
Write to sales@colormixpackaging.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and order data is limited to the sales and engineering team who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold small, which is the most effective protection there is.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting an open enquiry or an active order will be sent to the contact we already hold.
