Rigid Boxes: Lid & Base, Magnetic, Drawer and Double Door

A rigid box is defined by one thing: the board. Greyboard of 1.5–3 mm is wrapped in printed paper, so the walls stay flat after the lid comes off. Everything else — how the lid closes, how the product is revealed — is a variation on that core.

The five constructions below cover most briefs. Lid and base is the default for gift sets; magnetic closure and double door are chosen when the opening itself is part of the product; drawer boxes suit jewellery and small hardware; collapsible magnetic boxes exist because freight on an assembled box is often more expensive than the box itself.

More rigid constructions are being added — book-style, shoulder-neck and window lids among them. If the shape you need is not here, send the product dimensions and we will say which construction fits and which does not.
